Cheapest SUV With Mercedes Feature

It is said that Tata Motors is preparing for the launch of the most-awaited SUV – the Sierra. We have seen the SUV on test multiple times, and a lot of information is known. Among all, it is the introduction of the Mercedes feature that has left everyone excited. Talking of which, Tata Sierra will be launched with a triple-screen layout. A unique feature that gained its popularity with Mercedes and was later introduced in the Mahindra XEV 9e. That said, a similar setup will now be available with the Sierra, also making it the cheapest SUV to have the feature. Why cheapest? Well, the Sierra ICE is expected to be priced between Rs 13 lakh & Rs 24 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). While the EV model could be priced between Rs 17 lakh & Rs 27 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

Now, one of the recent spy shots revealed the triple-screen layout in action. However, the exact dimensions of the screens are yet to be confirmed. Just like Mahindra or Mercedes, the Sierra will sport a digital instrument cluster, a touchscreen system and a passenger touchscreen system. For touchscreen, Tata Motors has two displays – a 12.3-inch & a 14.5-inch touchscreen system from Samsung – recently introduced with the Harrier.ev. So, the touchscreens could get either of the two displays. However, for the digital instrument cluster, the brand only has a 10.25-inch unit. So, will the brand continue with the same? Or will it offer a larger display? Well, that’s something that will be confirmed at the time of its launch!

Tata Sierra Features – Other Details

Talking about the launch, it is said that Tata Motors will be launching the Sierra ICE on the 25th of November and the Sierra.ev on the 9th of December. However, none of these has been officially confirmed by the brand yet. Now apart from the mentioned Mercedes-like feature, the Sierra will be offering a lot than its competitors. Expect features like 10-speaker JBL Sound System, Digital IRVM, 540-degree Camera, Boost Mode, AWD configuration with EV, Auto Park, Summon Mode and more.
